Kayla McPherson, LMT

Leaving Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region to further her education, Kayla found Portland through the pursuit of massage therapy. During her time at East West College, she was fully immersed in her studies, becoming more and more fascinated with the the mechanics of the human body.

In seeking out learning opportunities and trainings with various practitioners, she
has developed a style that can accommodate a wide range of massage needs. By
combining subtle touch with deep tissue technique, the approach to each client is
individualized. Whether you need a well-deserved moment to relax, supplemental care
for rehabilitation, or conjunctive therapy for a chronic condition, Kayla looks forward to
working with you and your health care provider.

The naturopathic principles and philosophy complement her massage ideals and her
understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal; thus her placement here at Nature
Cures Clinic has been natural fit.

Upon graduation from East West College of Massage therapy in 2006, Kayla began taking steps for enrollment at the National College of Natural Medicine in 2009 in pursuit of her doctorate. She will graduate the summer of 2013, and looks forward to expanding her scope of practice as a physician while continuing to incorporate massage.

Outside of the classroom Kayla enjoys reading, camping, watching baseball and
exploring the Oregon Coast. She occasionally visits Rocky Mountains and Teton Valley
upholding her love and connection with wide open spaces.
