Announcing the new Remote Consultation Service with Dr. Paisley!
Currently, Dr. Rose is providing care exclusively via phone, email, and Skype. The purpose of this type of practice is to provide consultation and support to patients who may not have access to a ND in their area and who need guidance with their current medical care. After several years of providing outpatient care, Dr. Rose found that the majority of her time was spent interviewing and educating her patients, getting to know them and building relationships with them and their families. Since much of this is accomplished by email and over the phone already, it makes sense to offer long distance care and consult directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Dr. Rose relies on current research in conventional and alternative diagnostics and treatments when addressing acute and chronic conditions. She offers individualized medical care that incorporates the healing power of food, herbs, movement, water, touch and homeopathy. Individually and collectively these naturopathic tools enable her to address many conditions. She strongly believes in working closely with her patients to help them help themselves. She encourages collaboration with family, friends and other health care providers to attain the best possible care and quality of life.
During your “visit”, Dr. Rose will take a detailed history, evaluate and discuss your labs, and provide a compassionate and comprehensive assessment and treatment plan that best suits you. Ideally, within the first few visits you will see improvement; with a better understanding of your personal health and all of the options for care, you will be empowered to choose a more comprehensive and holistic approach. Dr. Rose’s treatments are intended to treat the cause and remove the obstacles to cure. Patients are asked to evaluate and address their nutrition, physical activity, environmental exposure to chemicals, mental and emotional wellbeing, and medications. Many of our health care needs can be addressed with simple lifestyle changes. Common chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, allergies, gastro-intestinal disorders, pain and certain cancers can be associated with lack of education and poor lifestyle. By addressing lifestyle, patients put their health first and significantly improve their quality of life. They can expect improvement in energy levels, mental capacity, and emotional well-being– in addition to lower health care costs in the long run.

Detoxification and Cleansing – Participating in an allergy elimination diet for a short period of time is not only diagnostic but also therapeutic in treating many common health issues including allergies, pain, headaches, eczema, IBS and IBD, GERD, fatigue, depression, ADD and ADHD.
Patient Advocacy – An opportunity to discuss concerns or difficulties that you may be experiencing with your current health care; to help bridge the communication gap between you and your local health care providers.
Dr. Rose has over 10 years of training in the Health Sciences. After receiving her Bachelors Degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (where she found her inspiration to become a Naturopathic Physician), she attended Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. While attending Bastyr she complemented her education with six weeks of study in Borneo. While in Borneo, Rose followed a medical team through villages along the Baram River, attended a rotation at a Hospital in Marudi, and explored traditional rain forest medicine in the company of her host family in a Kayan Village. Upon returning, her work was accredited as three courses: Spirituality and Medicine, Traditional Medicine in the Baram, and Rural Health Care. She completed her medical training at National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Rose loves nature and seeks to create an inspiring social environment. She is politically active, supports local businesses, and offers free health education in a variety of community settings. She is a board member of Culture Medicine, a nonprofit organization designed to provide naturopathic medical clinics and health education to international and local communities. She loves biking, organic gardening, and vocalizing her views, especially when it comes to recycling and minimizing wasteful use of natural resources. Dr. Rose attributes her love of life and infectious laughter to her husband Greg and daughters Lola and Viva.
