Chinese Medicine

Chinese medicine is over 4000 years old. It focuses primarily on the flow of blood and energy (called “qi”) through the body, while also balancing the active and passive energies of the body referred to as “yang” and “yin.” A wide range of therapies can be utilized within the context of Chinese medicine to restore proper flow of qi and blood, while also balancing and harmonizing organ functioning.

Acupuncture is the most widely known Chinese medicine therapy, but Chinese herbal medicines are also extremely helpful. Other therapies include cupping, moxa, and Chinese dietetics. At Nature Cures Clinic these therapies are commonly used in conjunction with naturopathic therapies in order to address an individual’s health in the most comprehensive way possible.
