At Nature Cures Clinic we believe that the successful treatment of cancer involves a comprehensive program to optimize all aspects of a patient’s potential for recovery.

The Rationale Behind Nature Cures Clinic’s Treatment

Every successful treatment program must accomplish a well-defined set of goals. Each goal represents one step in preventing a cancer cell from surviving and replicating. While some therapies are appropriate for virtually all cancer types, others are specifically indicated in particular kinds of cancer. A carefully designed cancer treatment program combines the specific set of goals and therapies most appropriate for each individual.

Our treatments target several aspects of cancer’s ability to grow and survive:

Boost NK Cells

Our bodies have an innate anti-cancer defense system that exists largely in the form of Natural Killer (NK) cells. These cells are on constant surveillance for the appearance of cancer cells. Once cancer gets established in the body, it hides itself from these cells so that it can grow. One primary objective of treatment is to “wake up” the NK cells so that they begin to see and attack the cancer cells in their midst.

Block Metastasis

One of the most important objectives in cancer treatment is to prevent and treat metastases. There are a number of therapies that specifically inhibit the ability of cancer cells to establish “remote sites” around the body. It is vitally important that the metastatic potential of a cancer be inhibited.

Reduce Inflammation

All cancers create a significant amount of inflammation around them in order to grow. One aspect of blocking the growth of cancer involves blocking its ability to generate this inflammatory environment.

Inhibit Angiogenesis

If a cancer can’t establish a blood supply, it can’t grow. Cancers consume a very large amount of energy in the body, and the more extensive their blood supply the more energy they will consume. There are a number of nutrients that have been proven to prevent the generation of blood vessels that feed tumors.

Induce Apoptosis

One of the problems with cancer cells is that they’ve forgotten when to die, a normal process called apoptosis (programmed cell death). As a result, they seem to live, and divide, indefinitely. Specific nutrients have been shown to “remind” cancer cells to die they way all healthy cells should.

Block Fuel to Cancer Cells

In addition to blocking angiogenesis (blood vessels), it is also important to block a cancer cell’s ability to put energy to use. Specific nutrients can inhibit the ability of cancer cells – but not healthy cells – to take up and utilize the fuel that drives their growth.

Nature Cures Cancer Therapies

Cancer is a complex disease that requires a muti-faceted treatment approach. While directly killing cancerous cells is important, that’s just one aspect of a comprehensive plan. One of the most important goals of a treatment program is to prevent recurrence. A broad-based plan that becomes a new way of life both during and after a cancer diagnosis is the most important step in becoming a cancer survivor. The therapies outlined below are just some of those we use to optimize an individual’s potential for a cancer-free life.

Cancer is inhibited by specific nutrients. These nutrients can be supplied in high doses in order to inhibit cancer growth, induce cancer cell death, and even optimize the effectiveness of conventional cancer treatments.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbs

A wide range of Chinese herbal formulas have been studied for their ability to treat cancer and to mitigate the damaging effects of conventional cancer therapies. Acupuncture, too, has been shown to offset many side-effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

Injection therapies including Cell Therapy and Iscador

Cancer cells commonly exhibit a wide range of genetic changes that interfere with their ability to function properly.  German Cell Therapy utilizes tissue-specific peptides to provide the biological information needed for cells to regulate their metabolism properly.

Iscador, an extract of the mistletoe plant, has been studied extensively and is widely used in Germany and elsewhere in the treatment of cancer.

Alkalinizing therapies

Any therapy that causes the inside of a cancer cell to become highly alkaline will interrupt the cancer cell’s ability to divide.

Stress management

Stress causes changes in the body that feed cancer cell growth and division. It is essential that stress be reduced to the greatest extent possible, while at the same time learning and cultivating a ‘relaxation response’ that augments the body’s inherent cancer healing abilities.

We tailor our treatment programs to optimize those conventional therapies, while helping to mitigate the sometimes severe side effects they can cause.
