Dr. Russ observes his patients closely and carefully to identify each person’s particular patterns of structural strain and works to release them. A treatment with Dr. Russ may consist of a combination of chiropractic adjusting, massage, stretching, postural and movement exercises, and physical therapy methods such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation of muscle.

Patients of all ages appreciate his gentle touch, his clear communication, and his emphasis on the patient’s active role in his or her healing. His treatment sessions are thorough and unhurried, and his fees are reasonable.

Though he is known for helping patients heal without lengthy and costly courses of treatment, he can also provide ongoing supportive care for patients with chronic pain, or those recovering from serious illness or surgery.

Dr. Russ entered the field of bodywork in 1993 as a practitioner of Shiatsu and Tui Na (Chinese massage). This training and experience ignited his curiosity. To fulfill his wish to understand the human frame and all of its complexity, he attended New York Chiropractic College. He completed this rigorous five-academic-year program with honors, while concurrently earning certification from the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

He has developed and taught graduate-level courses in physical medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, and he can be seen onstage performing improvisational comedy with the local troupe ComedySportz.
