I would like to know a cure or how type 2 diabetes could be reversed please.

Thanks for writing in – Type 2 diabetes is a complex condition and there are no simple answers to reversing it. A large number of factors have to be considered when formulating a comprehensive treatment strategy, such as the severity and duration of the disease, functioning of other organs such as liver and kidneys, concurrent hormone imbalances, assessment of toxic exposures and many others.

As with all chronic diseases, type 2 diabetes is controlled first with a thorough understanding of these issues. Next, a comprehensive plan is put in place that includes appropriate physical exercise, nutrition counseling, and targeted supplementation. Treatment may also include a detoxification program, acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas, stress management, physiotherapy and a number of other therapies. It always depends on the individual.

Come and see us for a consultation if you’re ready to tackle these issues.
