“Good” Bacteria Keep Immune System Primed To Fight Future Infections, According To Penn Study
Scientists have determined that antibiotics eliminate both good and bad gut bacteria, leading to potentially severe secondary infections. Probiotics contain the good bacteria that needs to be replaced in the body in order for the immune system to stay primed to fight off future infection.
